I am pleased to endorse Marty Ryan for the Wisconsin State Legislature.

During my time working with Marty, I saw firsthand his commitment to Fond du Lac and the people who call our community home. 

As a City Councilman and later as Council President, Marty was always looking for ways to make Fond du Lac a better place.

What stood out to me was that Marty didn’t simply show up for meetings and cast votes. He listened to residents, worked with others and took the time to understand the challenges facing our community. He believed in finding practical solutions and bringing people together.

Whether the issue involved economic development, city services, public safety or strengthening our neighborhoods, Marty approached his work with energy, thoughtfulness and a genuine desire to serve.

Marty understands that progress takes leadership, cooperation and a willingness to work with others. Those are qualities he demonstrated on the City Council and as Council President, and they are qualities he will bring to the Wisconsin Legislature.
